Kendrick Lamar’s Sophomore Album Reportedly Due Out This Coming September

Kendrick Lamar's Sophomore Album Reportedly Due Out In September

While still milking off of the success of his unforgettable debut album, Good Kid M.A.A.D City, Kendrick Lamar recently announced that his second album will be released sometime this coming September

In Billboard’s cover story on Kendrick & Schoolboy Q, it was reported that TDE’s CEO & Kendrick’s label head promised 6 albums from TDE members for 2014 … Given the fact that TDE only has 6 members, common sense would have it that Kendrick will be releasing his second album sometime this year …

In the cover story, it was reported that Kendrick will indeed release his album in September … We’ll all be looking forward to it … Seems like a perfect time for Kendrick to capitalize on the amazing success he’s been having …

I really think this album is critical for Kendrick and his legacy … Most are already saying that Kendrick is the King of Hip-Hop at this moment, but most of this is only due to speculation … His freshman album was legendary, but folllowing it up by delivering on the potential that everyone has said he has will put this in the books … I’m certainly rooting for him – he seems destined to be the savior of hip-hop … All across the boards, it seems as if everyone is rooting for him … He’s a hard guy to dislike … And based on his history, it’s only fitting that people have compared him as the next Tupac …

Take a look at some artist’s illustration of Tupac & a young Kendrick … I really have no idea where this is from – I saw it on the internet somewhere … But it really seemed cool to me …

“Picture jewels being handed to an innocent child” – Tupac

The rap game is yours for the taking, K.Dot … Make us proud …
